Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will support the chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, cleaning, organization, and general kitchen duties.

Responsibilities

Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.

Keep kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitized.

Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen utensils.

Help receive, store, and organize food and kitchen supplies.

Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.

Assist chefs and other kitchen staff during busy service periods.

Take out rubbish and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.

Monitor stock levels and report items that need to be replenished.

Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.

Requirements

Previous kitchen or food-service experience is an advantage but not essential.

Good hygiene and cleanliness standards.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to follow instructions and food safety procedures.

Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies when required.
